I am an art teacher & artist. Born in the U.K but currently living in Drenthe in the north of the Netherlands.

I could give you my life history but I don't wish to bore.......besides its pretty much all outlined in my C.V and Personal Statement below. I have recently begun to further develop my ideas in a practical way using oil as my main medium, although I very much enjoy exploring the use of other materials. Finally i have an Atelier all to myself (Studio Stitches) and am looking forward to opening it up so that people can take a peek.

I enjoy experimenting with different techniques and materials to portray my abstract thinking. The Stitches Series is one that has been inspired through my travels and all the stitches determine connections related the various facets of life. The organic abstract work includes a variety of light, colour and movement which have evolved from trains of thought which vary.
I regularly join in life drawing classes and produce realistic model studies, materials such as pen, ink and charcoal feature strongly within these. Alongside my own work, I often undertake commissioned projects which has proved to be a great experience.
